: Okay part of this was covered in a thread a couple of nights ago. But I like to ask why is the first time a person buys a Z it's like the guy has to run out and get the first bodykit he can find. I respect the fact the owner's of these vehicles have put a lot of time and effort into their vehicles to be different and unique. Something subte like the lip spoiler the GR sells isn't that bad but all these full on body kits? We own unique cars that didn't exactly come out in huge numbers i.e. Civic, integra. : The fad of bodykits has come and gone over the years. I've seen some horrid looking vettes with some awful 70's crap on them. The new owner considers the vehicle restoration projects and trust me I've done it once it's not fun or pretty once you start yanking stuff off that's been on their 10-15 years. Also it narrows the field down considerably when you need to sell or if your a buyer. Z's that lasted the longest on Autotrader when I was looking for mine (a little over 6 months) were the ones with problems or bodykits. Guys this is just a fad why do we have to look like every other ricer on the road? These cars are unique and future classics (especially TT's) why change the look so drastically? Heres the original thread.
: Ignore the nastiness towards the end I just don't like being called narrow minded or how I have such a "promising career as a bartender" Please no personal attacks i.e Lady 300z and 1pcmsg. I'd just like some quality answers and again this is not a personal attack on you guys I just want to know why you would do this?
